Alison was the popular “Queen Bee” of the high school students. Each of the four girls always shared her secrets with Ali. One Labor Day night, the five girls were having a party, when Alison suddenly went missing. Without their leader, the four girls separated. One year later, each girl gets a text message from a mysterious person named “A”, including secrets that only Alison should know. Could this person be Alison? If not, then who is it? The girls reunite to find out who this A is and to stop him or her from exposing their secrets. Five years after the events in Rosewood are put behind them, Aria, Alison, Spencer, Hanna and Emily have finally seemed to get their lives back in order. But when Alison calls all of the girls back to Rosewood, they soon realize their problems are far from over when a new, more dangerous threat comes and is willing to do anything to get what they want. A clique of teenage girls drift apart after the group’s leader, Alison DiLaurentis, goes missing. Her body is found and the girls are reunited at her funeral. All four begin receiving text messages from the mysterious ‘A’, who seems to know many of the group’s deepest secrets, some of which only the late Alison had knowledge of. The girls join forces against A’s scheming and try to uncover the mystery of Alison’s death.
